Certain apps (but not all) stutter half my songs predictably and repeatably

Hi All,

I have a Plex server running in a docker container on my UNRAID server at home. The server has access to ample hardware resources and GPU hardware transcoding is enabled.

About 50% of the songs I play have a stutter (or brief speed-up) at certain predictable and repeatable points in the song. This stutter is always present in these songs, at the same time stamp, every time they are played: usually at approximately five seconds or nine seconds into the song. This occurs exactly the same with Plexamp for Windows, Plexamp for Android, when casting to Chromecast with Plexamp for Android, and when using the regular Plex app for Android.

This does NOT occur on the regular Plex app for Windows, nor when the files are played outside of the Plex server (standalone file on my desktop played in VLC for example).

Has anyone experienced something like this before? Any idea why this occurs on some versions of the Plex apps and not others, and how I might go about correcting or troubleshooting this?

In case someone comes across this later, it does appear to be a problem with the files themselves. They were prepared by someone else in WMA lossless format. Not sure what the problem is as I understood Plex could handle WMA files. But, when I re-rip the CDs using a better program (Exact Audio Copy) to FLAC the problem is gone.
