Probably there is only a small group of users making use of NFS mounted home directories. In Plex/Nine (and Eight?) the PMS had problems finding metadata, serving plug-ins, etc. See topic.
As a not-Python-programmer I wanted to make it work, without changing my environment. I finally found a simple solution. I can not oversee if there is impact elsewhere, but it seems harmless and working. Is it possible to get it into the coming releases?
