Would there ever be an Plex Media Server for Apple TV?

Hi there,

I have a Synology DS414 which is too old for hardware acceleration but really good as file storage. I was hoping I could have PMS installed on the Apple TV device which has a powerful CPU to perform hardware acceleration, and simply point to the tv/movies in the NAS.

I cannot find a PMS version for Apple TV though. Would this be planned in the future?

That is probably due to Apple TV being considered a client rather than a server.
