Ok so Im new to this whole Plex thing and its all due to my wife wanting to watch certain movies through this Server...Well I have ran into an issue. I have connected and installed both my Xbox 360 and PLex web player but still can not watch any videos at all!!! what am I doing wrong??? I added the Yify bundle to the web player and it shows up on the 360 but cant play a video on either from this channel or other channels. Help PLease!! the web player just says "PLex Media Server Not responding"...Im running Windows 7 Pro, 1TB HDD, 8 GB RAM, and NAT is OPEN.
I use windows media center a lot on the 360 to watch cable tv through my pc (as a cable box). In a lot of cases I have to remove it and reinstall it then it works. I also turn everything off and reset. Unplugging the XBOX for a minute does sometimes help. You should always do it for the XBOX ONE.
One last thing I have used xbox support for connections issues they can be very helpful.

If you add your own Video file to your library does it play ok?
Might I suggest you ask for this thread to be moved to the XBox 360 Subforum as you will get more people who know the actual product. (Do this through the report option)
thanks and i ve done just about everything...that plex suggests and some in forums but seem to have the same exact issue. i will request this to be moved to the xbox 360 forum.
