Xbox 360 unauthenticate plex media server

I'm sorry if i'm at the wrong place for this post. I never use forums and i'm completely stuck!

 

 

I was able to prevent access to my plex media server with family by creating accounts and only sharing with them what I allowed. This worked great until I turned on my Xbox

and found out how easily I had full access to everything I had on my plex server.

 

Some of the content i have on plex is not family friendly and I've been searching for a solution to block the Xbox's ability to connect to my Plex Media Server.

 

Google searches just give me guides on using the xbox to stream Plex

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated, if the solution is software any links would be great!!

Do you want to completely block all access to Plex from the Xbox? Create a firewall rule. You will need to have your router assign the xbox a reserved IP address or configure one staticky on the xbox.

Please could you give more information on this? Do you have to block the port that you specify for plex on the static ip for the device you want to block?

Settings --> Server --> DLNA --> Disable DLNA
