I just bought plex premium for life, and i cant seem to find the plex app for xbox 360. has this been released for 360 yet? anywhere i can get the app?

Only the Plex team knows at this point, keep an eye on the blog for updates. There has been no other information released.

You're not the only one patiently waiting.  It's been over 2 weeks since the Xbox One app hit and there are many more users of the 360 than the One, and we're all clamoring for this app in the Xbox marketplace.  From what we can get out of Elan, there's absolutely no idea of when it will appear short of "soon" and "we're working as hard as we can".  Soon could be this week, next week, next month, or this winter.  Unfortunately, no one knows.

I've requested an Xbox 360 sub-forum is created so we can move all of these conversations out of the One forum, but it looks like they're not interested in doing that just yet.

The getting an APP out on the XBox 360 is way more time consuming than on the XBox One I hear. So may be it is allready complete just needs more time to get released.

Why..? So that we who only have XBO should wait till the XBOX 360 app is finished?

I think it's great that they published the XBO-app once it was ready =)

Why? Because you can't wait? It's coming, and will no doubt be better based on testing and feedback done on the Xb1 app.

One thing I noticed about the Xbox 360 app is that there don't appear to be any actual settings under the Servers & Settings menu, accessed by pressing the 'x' button when on the Plex home screen.  I couldn't find any way to see (or change) what the audio and video settings were for local & shared libraries.  Am I missing something?

That’s great to hear - finally!!! Will install as soon as I get home tonight. That sucks that server settings can’t be changed from the app, though. :frowning:

Available in the UK as well, Also noted that there seems to be no settings you can adjust on the App but still playing with it. :)

The same as the 360 has always supported via DLNA.  It just uses the 360's stock media player.

Not without transcoding. So if your Plex server is not powerfull enough...
