I want to first start off by saying thank you for bringing Plex to the Xbox One. I remember seeing your icon during the xbox launch and have been waiting for it to come out since that day!
Does/Will the Xbox One app be available as a player in the Plex mobile apps? As much as I love the voice and gesture commands, sorting through a 500+ movie library simply by navigating to a letter and scrolling page by page just doesn't quite do it for me. I understand the interface has to use the functionality Microsoft provides and that can be somewhat limiting in what the Plex experience on Xbox One will look like, but if the Xbox One was a player I could at least quickly use my mobile app to find and play the movie quickly.
If this won't work would our best option be to stick with DLNA "casting" to the xbox one instead?

Thanks for your post. At the moment, the Xbox One application doesn't support being remote controlled by our mobile applications. However, this is something the team is very keen on adding, and we'll hopefully have something more to share in the future with new updates...
A shame this isn't in the feature set yet, I always use my phone or tablet to browse for what to watch, and then play it to my big screen (using the home theatre app on an attached mini pc currently). While the Xbox One app is lovely, I would miss this feature too much, so I'll stick with the PHT app for now. Thanks for your efforts though.

I understand, and sorry it's not there... We had to balance the feature set with getting it into the hands of our users. We'll work hard to make the choice between PHT and the XB1 app easier ;)
