I have set it up for my nephew. Thinking about doing the same for my brother when he gets the system but not sure if it’s limited to just one

You can only have one xbox activated per plex pass account at this time. If you sign in on one it will sign you out on the other. This is only during the plex pass version . If your brother wants to use it have him get a plex pass even for just a month to try it out.
That wouldn’t work since it’s me that is serving the media. Hopefully they just change it so you pay 5 or whatever they want for the app instead of locking it down to Plex Pass. Doesn’t make sense otherwise (ie why forfeit potential revenue)

I believe that is the theory down the road for what they want to do. However as stated if you have your brother get a plex pass for one month $7 I think, he would get a full month to see what he thinks of it before buying it for $x when it is finally released. I dont know how long the xbox app will stay a plex pass only thing.
The current activation for XB1 is rather aggrivating. I have two XB1s but only use plex on one. A particular account has to be logged in for Plex to work... Log in as another account prompts to register.
It should register with the system much like Netflix does.
