It is my understanding that because the Xbox One’s NXOE has removed Kinect gestures from the dashboard, apps like Plex, Hulu, or Netflix have also lost gestures. However, apps like Fruit Ninja have integrated gesture controls that continue to function even without gestures in the dashboard. Is this true? Can anyone elaborate on this further for me?
Nonetheless, the Plex site lists gesture controls as a feature of the app for Xbox One. Is this out of date or is there a setting that has to be changed on my end? Is there any chance of Plex bundling integrated Kinect gesture controls in a future update?
