xbox one s is transcoding h264 to h264 since last update - why? how to disable?

This file has been my ‘test’ file for primarily iOS/OSX devices to test direct-stream functionality (ATV3/4, iPad Air, PlexWeb, openPHT) and I’ve noticed that it’s getting video-trancoded when going to ATV4/iOS devices, and now xboxone as well

I think I’v found the problem, but don’t know really how to solve it.
Plex tries dur burn the subtitles, because of that, no direct play is possible.
How can I activate subtitles on Xbox One without burning them?

According to what you posted the video stream isn’t being transcode. You more likely are seeing the bug with Plex web that is incorrectly stating codecs.

Do you still see this with the latest version of PMS? If not ideally we would want to see more of the log to determine what the server is actually doing since the app is requesting things the way it should be.
