Most of my video files are h.264 MKVs which i watch manily via the Xbox Obe Plex App. Some of the videos have SRT subtitles.
When watching any video with subtitles Plex transcodes the video stream in order to burn the subtitles into the picture.
Is there any way to watch these videos with subtitles without transcoding?
Most software video players support overlaying subtitles without having to transcode, so I thought there would be a way for Plex to do it?
The transcoding to add subtitles happens even if I watch the video in the Plex Web (Chrome) Player.
