Just want to say mine is on the original xbox one and not the S so it’s not just an xbox one s issue. It could however be linked to the latest xbox one dashboard update as there was a recent dashboard update.
I didn’t use the app prior to this dashboard update but this may be the cause of the problem especially looking at the date of this thread.
I am having the same problem Xbox one and the code wants a refresh after 10 seconds. Frustrating
Same issue. Brand new Xbox One S, only app I have installed is Plex. The code expires faster than I can type it in.
Another update… I’ve asked 3 people on my friends list to download Plex and see if code expires very fast. All three of them see the code expire in around 5 seconds. They are all using the new xbox dashboard and the normal xbox. I’ll try and find somebody with the old dashboard and see if the issue is present there.
Same problem here. Xbox one, new dashboard. Expires before I have a chance to enter the code. Plex is rendered unusable! Please fix!
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Same issue.
Hi have tried factory resetting my xbox when i first got it and that didnt help. Plex did say they think its a network issue. Or as we all seem more or less to be running the new dashboard maybe that has something to do with it. I have tried my old xbox one before it got sold last night as its on the old dashboard and it was working fine. The code stayed on there for ages. So come on plex get this sorted its been a week now since my initial contact with you about this issue. You have many others in the same iSituation now not just me anymore…

Any work around? Can I link my Xbox via your website or something. This is very irritating… and I’ve only been down for a day!
Hi. This is my post and i have been speaking to plex a lot over the last week. They are based in the states so hey wont reply to messages till arounf 1am the morning think they are west coast. They are looking into it and while it has been a week since i reported the issue they dont seem to be ignoring it. With all the extra people reporting the same issue on my original post i would hope we may hear something tonight.
Cheers

I’ve just received a reply and have been told to keep an eye on this thread for updates.
My thoughts lead me to believe the xbox dashboard update has messed with the Plex code time out functionality in some way.
I’ve tried several friends as I’ve previously said and they all experience the same issue. I’ve even tried my 4g Internet connection to make sure it wasn’t a broadband issue on my end.
Fingers crossed this is fixed soon.
Question for those affected here. Do you have an Xbox One S or Xbox One? Are you running OS version 10.0.15063.1005 (RS2_RELEASE_XBOX_1703.170323-1228) fre or a different OS (you can check this in your system settings page)?

Same version number I’m using, and on the original Xbox One.
Edit: If you genuinely can’t reproduce this issue I have no idea why. I’ve just asked two more friends who have never used Plex and they timeout in 4 seconds aswell.
Thanks so much for your patience, folks. An update just went out on our side which should resolve this issue. You may need to force-quit and then restart the Xbox One app.

I can confirm this has fixed the issue, thanks.
