Hi i have got an xbox one s and everytime i try to use the pin code to connect. The pin on screen expries within 10 seconds and tells me to refresh. So its useless have seen this issue commented on other devices but not on xbox one.
I have reset the console to factory default wiped everything from it and uninstalled the app twice. With the same issue still being there.
Can someone please look into this.

Yes it is timing out on its own. I put the controller down after i choose the app. It doesnt happen on anything else. The screen comes up code expired almost immediately has done all weekend have tried some 40 times now

Meant to say i refresh it and it does it again. I have video of it that im uploading to youtube for you to view. I also have two controllers that i have tried independantly just incase it was one of them causing the issue. Amazon, netflix and xbox media player work fine. There is only one plex app available on.my one s as i just searched.

Plex Media Player is our desktop/htpc app available for full computers. in full screen it looks basically like the xbox app and has the same code login system. No worries if you do not have a computer
Hi i have tried this many times i have lost count how many times i have u installed the app. I have even wiped my console and started from scratch and lost 700gb of games. It still does it.I dont know what else to do now.

Here is a video just to show the console is wiped clean no games or account data saved. Factory wipe and still plex is the only thing on the console and its still playing its little game. I also tried my 2nd controller aswell just incase it was doing something it shouldnt

Just dont understand it. I tried installing plex on someone elses original xbox one console and it doesnt do it on theirs and it shows a lot more downloads of the app on their console than it does on my xbox one s. So god knows whats happening. Please help sort this out. I bought this console for its plex abilities. So at the moment i have wasted £200…

I’m having exactly the same issue. I sent a ticket in already but was trying to Google solutions and found this thread.
The video he posted is identical to what I’m seeing on my xbox.
If there is any fix please let me know, I really need to sort this ASAP.

Running into the same problem here. I think its less then 10 sec for me, like perhaps 5. Kinda makes having Plex useless at the moment.
Hi ive been old by plex that the issue is network related, but they have no fix at present. Its been a week since i reported it and as of thursday they had only just worked that out. So who knows when it will be fixed. At least others are in the same situation. They may try harder now.

I also have this problem. It only started when I replaced my original XB1 with a new XB1S yesterday. Pin code login is effectively useless.
Everything was fine on the original XB1
