Howdy all,
I was curious if anyone could tell me what the ETA or plan is for a stand-alone xbox one app that will allow me to use the Xbox One Plex app without having a Plex Pass Subscription. I don't use any of the Plex Pass features, nor do I have a use for them except streaming locally from my pc to my xbox one via that app.

Xbox live is not stable enough to run plex without it being a stand alone app

Same for me xbox live is out in Germany, cant connect, funny thing xbox is down longer and i was browsing my database and watching movies worked until i closed the app so an active internet connection is not required by microsoft this is really annoying that i dont have access to my local media just because i cant connect to internet!!
I think the connection is to confirm you have a plex pass account. I have only known xbox live to go down maybe 5 times for some period since day one of xbox.
