Since the epg offered for romania is not that great, only around 30% of the shows/movies are detected and that’s because some channels don’t get any EPG information, at all. I realy hope this part will improve since at the moment the whole DVR is pretty useless.
Howverm the good news is that plex support xmltv. Grabing tv guides using webgrabplus it’s a must for countries like Romania. The good news is that around 95% of the channels have epg on different sites that webgrabplus grabs. The bad news is that every show/series is detected as a movie, i’m not sure why that’s wht i’m trying to figure out.
For the disney Junior channel in Romania the websites that offer program guide do not offer information on the episode number, season number, actors, etc. The only information offered is start time, end time, name of the show.
I have tried to enrich the xml by adding a category hopping that plex is using this information in order to define if the content is a movie or a series, but no luck.
So, do you have some information on how a xmltv should be built in order to work as expected?
