I guess that has something to do with the Plex DVR settings. With more than 1000 streams the site crashes regularly.
420 is also just a warning, you can still set it up in the DVR settings your channels.

Tell me please how to start use your program? need some registration from you and get beta key? or what is beta key? in documentation there are no words about it. I try to start test windows beta version. The idea is great.

With many providers you can adjust that. TS streams work.

This is very strange that m3u8 doesn’t play by Plex media server, because m3u and m3u8 practically the same and PMS understand UTF8 Russian Cyrillic symbol in m3u list.

Give me please example (if you have own list) syntax of m3u list, which pms understand, I will try to convert from my m3u8 to m3u. I have only m3u8 list made by myself.

For example unofficial plex iptv.bundle plugin work with my M3u8 playlist without any problem, but this plugin doesn’t have comfortable EPG list, in this plugin EPG is very simple.

The content of the m3u file is relatively unimportant, the streaming format is important.
Content of a M3U file (This example does not work with Plex):

#EXTM3U

In the last line is the streaming URL, which is passed from xTeVe to Plex. This connection to the streaming server was taken over by Plex (Plex Transcoder).

The straming format must be changed on the server.

For some providers, the streaming format in the URL can be changed.
From:

http://streaming.server/playlist?user=xxx&pass=xxx&format=m3u8

To:

http://streaming.server/playlist?user=xxx&pass=xxx&format=ts

Hi, thanks for the beta key, its working well for live playback but recording is a bit of a hit and miss (but I think this is a Plex problem and will try reinstalling)

My iptv provider supply’s an xmltv download url in the format of - http://xxx.xxx
net:80/xmltv.php?username=xxx&password=xxx

Which when entered into xTeVe is giving out an error of -

2018/07/22 21:25:23 [xTeVe] [ERROR] open C:\Users\xx\AppData\Local\Temp\xteve\xmltv.php?username=xxx&password=xxx: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. -

Any chance this can be fixed to just save the URL to a hard coded filename such as “xmltv.xml” or similar as its looks like its trying to create a file with the name of “xmltv.php?username=xxx&password=xxx” which it cant.

Yes, that’s a Plex problem.

For an HTTP file download, the file name should be in the header. Your provider is missing the header entry. In this case, xTeVe takes the file name from the URL. Windows can not handle special characters in the file name, so this error comes up.
I’ll see what I can do.

Tuner appears after a restart of PMS
 but disappear few seconds later

This is the problem I have. I go to setup tuner it’s there for a few seconds and then disappears, it’s done it for every version I’ve tried.

Which PMS version do you use?

For Plex to find xTeVe, xTeVe behaves like a UPNP server on the network.
It sends broadcast requests to the network. I know that does not always work.
But it seems to be a Plex problem. For testing, I always take a UPNP client from my smartphone. xTeVe is always found.

  • UPNP broadcast must be allowed on the network. The Windows Firewall can block these.
  • The Mac address of the computer (virtualization) must not change.
  • If your computer does not have DHCP, some operating systems require the broadcast IP address.
  • After the first setup of Plex DVR, Plex must be restarted.

UPNP is allowed on the network and i can see the discover ssds when i use the command xteve -v

The computer running xTeVe, DHCP fixed IP?
Is it a virtualization environment or a container?

Windows 10 and yes DHCP fixed and the pc is in thé Dmz Zone for thé firewall and for the environment im not sure
 but nothing change about the mac adress
