Youtube Agent

Hi,

I am saving a lot of youtube videos to my server, since sometimes videos are deleted. Does anybody has an idea how I can let them look good and structured in my library? When I add them now to my “other videos” folder they look horrible and nothing is analyzed.

I hope I used the correct section.

Cheers,

… aaaaaa… yup.

I suggest an ‘Other Videos’ library and manual addition of local artwork.

They ‘look horrible’ because you’re probably using some online YT grabber that’ll turn anything into absolute crap.

Just an FYI a lot of my favorite series are now listed on TVDB. You might want to check,

I just added YouTube playlist to series and season folders to my Absolute (and seasons) Series Scanner, use by adding ‘[youtube-PL…]’ At the end of folder or season folder. It will number youtube-dl downloads eps with the rank in the playlist
https://github.com/ZeroQI/Absolute-Series-Scanner/blob/Beta/Scanners/Series/Absolute%20Series%20Scanner.py

Now my YouTube agent is a movie ‘[youtube-video_Id]’ and TV series ‘[youtube-PL…]’ libraries metadata agent (can use video id in single file series folder with video I’d too so you can have movies and series in a single library, sane as for my anidb/tvdb anime agent HAMA)

Please report issues on github.
I recommend the playlist id on series folder and youtube-dl downloads in it, no need to rename.
