I’ve used youtube-dl to download a bunch of educational youtube channels for my kids to watch, so that I can block youtube and restrict them down to specific channels. I had the folder setup as a Library type “Other” to start with, but it only allows playing one at a time. They want to put it on random and sit back. So I created a new one using the Library type “TV Shows” and Agent of “Personal Media Shows”. However it is missing most of the files/episodes.
I tried the ‘Plex Dance™’, and I tried putting all the files into separate seasons folders based on the years, which increased the number a little.
For example on plex one channel has 13 episodes in the library TV Shows type Library, but on disk there are a 113 mp4 files. I’ve checked and the ones missing all play on the Other type library.
