Zain’s Feature Request 1 - Syncing sidebar configuration and experience settings across devices

With each of my family members (5 in total) being signed in to 7 android tv devices, 1 phone, 1 tablet, 1 computer EACH, it is a huge hassle to have to configure the sidebar for each of these devices so that they stay consistent.

As an example, if I add a new library to the server, I need to login to 10 devices for each of the 5 family members to reorganise the layout of the sidebar. That is 50 times I have to configure the sidebar.

I would love if the client settings for the sidebar could be synced to the cloud per user so I just have to change it on one device per user, and all that user’s sidebar configuration settings will be synced across devices. That would bring it down from 50 changes to 5 changes only.

In addition to being able to sync sidebar items, I would also like the ability to sync “experience” category of settings in the client app. It would help if when I turn off theme music (as an example) that it turns off on all my client devices.

Solution for saving/syncing users navigation bar preferences (order, pinning)

I searched the forums to and fro before posting this so I hope it’s not a duplicate. I’d like to see Plex provide a means to save each user’s navigation bar preferences, including library order and pinning choice, across devices. (Essentially, saving to the user’s profile although that may not be the correct technical nomenclature.) Some might argue that simply re-creating a user’s navigation bar preferences on each device is no big deal. But when you multiply several users in your account, a …

If you share a new library with users, this library is added automatically to their sidebars.

That’s right. But if there are changes to pinned libraries or order of libraries, that does not sync
