I have asked the original poster to post details here since too much stuff is never seen when only in the Plex Pass forum.
I just basically moved his post out into the public. Too much stuff in DVR Plex Pass Forum goes un-recognized by Plex it is scary but well hidden over there.
I really do hope this is not true as DVR does not need any more issues and why keep things secret as you seem to think it should be…
Also, Since Plex DVR is in General Release… Don’t you think those users in the UK should know???

It is not. It is in BETA and only usable by Plex-Pass users. As a BETA it’s a work in progress.

Because a BETA feature and the talk about it while testing belongs in the proper thread discussing it where the proper people working on it will see it.

Exactly, and not the correct thing to do. Anyone testing this know exactly where the talk about this feature belongs. That’s why the forum is setup the way it is to organize things properly.

It’s not a secret when it’s posted in the proper section of the website where it belongs for other DVD users to read it and to also test it to see if it affects them as well. This is part of testing the BETA. If a new release breaks something for you in BETA then you report it and go back to the previous version that does work for you and wait for a fix. That’s the nature of testing software.
Anyone not wanting to do this should simply not participate and wait for it to be released out of beta.

Again, no one not in Plex-Pass has access to it so it has no affect on them.
I guess the big question is since you’re in the US and this doesn’t affect you anyway why are you getting involved? Why not spend your time testing the parts of the system that affect you in the US?

@jjrjr1 Please note that no one hacked your account. The change to your avatar is an overlay automatically done by the forum software to depict your current status with the forums. You can check your forum profile and will see that your avatar is still the one you have chosen. Once your status returns to normal, the overlay will automatically be removed.
