Individualized (Per Series) Video Preview Thumbnails

I did a fair bit of searching, but wasn’t able to find anything specific to my thought.

I’m aware that Plex can currently index specific libraries (ie., I can select TV Shows and not Movies for indexing). I’m wondering if there is a way to flag specific items (in this case, all items that fall under a specific umbrella, perhaps a specific TV show (i.e. all seasons and episodes), or maybe a collection, specific tag or label.

Here’s my reasoning for wondering if this is possible. My wife and I typically watch TV Shows on our Plex Home Theater setup downstairs, where we can fast forward through boring stuff if we want. Occasionally, we’ll want to watch shows separately, and my wife will use the Apple TV upstairs. She typically only watches a few shows up there, so I’d love to be able to target only those shows for indexing, as I don’t need my entire TV library indexed. I don’t want to create a separate library for the 3 or 4 shows my wife watches up there, but I’d love to be able to index just those shows so she can fast forward when necessary.

Any thoughts?

you can use the command line to manually index specific things but there is not a way within Plex to have it only do specific shows automatically as you get more episodes of those shows
