Bugs?
Please report any bugs to http://tiny.cc/rasplex-bugs

1.0.1 has moved to the stable channel, without changing anything you can/will upgrade to 1.0.1.

1.0.2 is in the pre-release channel for a week or two, if you want to upgrade to it change which upgrade channel you are using to pre-release.

Hungs to download 100% and even if I restart the rpi2 cannot update

If I well understand, we can not do passthroug to the amplifier, it’s rasplex who decodes dts HD?

You could bring us details ?

If you want PCM 8 channel output (decoded 7.1) instead of passthrough (which can only do up to 5.1), you follow the advice above, disable passthrough, enable DTS decode in preferences. Then all DTS will be decoded by the RPi and sent to the amp as PCM.

Hi ! Thanks a lot for your job !

But what’s the difference between Rasplex and OpenPHT ?

Thanks !

With the last release of OpenPHT, the only difference is that OpenPHT can be installed on Windows/OSX machines, Rasplex has it’s own underlying OS based on OpenELEC which is Linux and only runs on the RPi. Rasplex had more features than OpenPHT but they are now in sync and will continue to be going forward.

Hello! Thanks you for your job!
What is the multi-colored square in the upper right corner, and how to remove it :). Thanks.

Either your power supply does not provide enough current (2A recommended) or your power supply cable is not providing enough current.

There are many threads here regarding the problem.

Thank you so much!

Thanks guys for the update.
Can you confirm if this will now allow Hifiberry(Digi+) audio for movies or is it still only for music.
I have read that this release is the latest Linux Kernel and Pi firmware but that doesn’t answer if this will now work for movies.

Thanks in advance and thanks for the hard work as always.

Still only music at the moment.

Regards

The lack of support for movies is not related to the kernel or RPi firmware, it requires a much newer player to be used in RasPlex, but due to the massive amount of tweaking in the current one to make it perform it isn’t as simple as replacing it with the new version.

Will be done when it is done.

I have auto update turned on and I checked for updates manually but it said my current version 1.0.1 was up to date… do I need to update manually? and if so how?

Change to Pre-release channel, see the second post, hmmm.

This release seems to have “somewhat” fixed the horrible issue with FF and RW that has plagued every release since 0.6.0.

Wooooo =D>

Keep up the EXCELLENT work guys and gals ^:)^
