Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone. I've been checking the news page almost daily since the beginning of May! Can't wait for this, as rasplex is certainly the best in the business for a pi based media client.

Bad news: There won't be any public release of RasPlex 0.6.1
Good news: There will be a public release of RasPlex 0.7.0 :)
Semi-sad news: We still can't nail down any release date, as some long-standing 'upstream' PHT networking bugs have just been discovered, which the coders want to fix before release.
(This discovery was made during tests of what was intended as a final release candidate of the new RasPlex version.)
While that delay is sad in itself, the end result will be much the better for it...

In addition to what Ned mentioned above, another important 0.7.0 fix modifies bitrate-based transcoding decisions.
Previously choosing any bitrate limit forced all media to be transcoded, regardless of their bitrate.
But with the new implementation transcoding is enforced only for media which exceed the chosen limit.

Very nice update! I'm so impressed what a RPI 2 can do nowerdays.
I think a can finally sell my Mac mini (2011) and Drobo FS and move over to a NAS (Asustor AS5104T).
And finally use DTS-HD MA / Dolby TrueHD in PHT

Sorry, meant Plex Inc sort out Airplay for Plex HT, after Apple changed Airplay for iOS7 it broke Airplay and Plex Inc have never properly fixed it, it does work sporadically.

Apple's Airplay is buggy. There's not much they can do.

Plex Inc never give any information about when and if issues will be fixed, there is nothing the Rasplex team can do until they fix it.
And another question, will the next update of Rasplex take into account the new official Raspberry wifi dongle (here)?
