This release fixed a number of problems for me, I was using 0.7.1 before this
My HEVC encodes no longer stutter every ~20 seconds
Using the scrubber results in WAY less playback failures
Zero freezes so far, it used to freeze after every 5 video playbacks
I don’t know if something changed in compatibility with my wifi dongle (TP-LINK WN727N v4) but I can direct play most of my collection now, in 0.7.1 it kept buffering every 5 seconds, I love it now
this is the greatest, I am so excited for the future of RasPlex
I’m seeing an odd issue with music during video. Multi channel audio files do not seem to be downmixing to stereo 2.0 over HDMI correctly. Manifests with TV show themes. Seems to be center channel issue.
Have been testing the 1.0.0 for a day or two on my RPi1B+, so far it is stable and plays back all that I have thrown at it, including my usual high bitrate tests
having the same problem with this release, i guess i’m going back to 0.7

Also, just wanted to send a bit “Thanks” to the Rasplex team. The latest release is great! My need to “force transcode” has been resolved that I was seeing in the 0.7.1 release. Release 1.0.0 along with the recommended overclock settings for the RPi2 makes this a great Plex client!

Yes, we prefer to release it to Pre-Release first and get feedback, already one issue concerning downmix that is being resolved, another small update soon.
