Plex Media Server 0.9.14.0 is now available for Plex Pass members.
We have a giant new release for you today, which represents several months of work, which was occurring in parallel to the stable 0.9.12.x series. We’re not going to enable auto-update for now with it, because we’d prefer that Plex Pass members opt into running it and giving us feedback.
One thing to note: if you downgrade to the 0.9.12 series, your sync lists (including for Cloud Sync) will be reprocessed (due to some enhancements and optimizations around sync processing), meaning things may get converted and/or transferred again. Just something to be aware of.
Last, but not least, this release includes the new transcoder which was made available for early testing a few months ago.
