Cast pictures are only showing if you use The Movie Database as ‘cast list source’:
If you use TheMovieDatabase as your primary library agent, do activate ‘Plex Movie’ as additional agent in the agent settings:
If your movies are in mp4 / m4v format, they can contain embedded cast info without pictures. You want to make sure that embedded meta data doesn’t override the info from the online agents
by doing this:
Go to Settings - Server - Agents - Shows - TheTVDB
In there, grab the line ‘Local Media Assets’ with your mouse and drag it downwards, so it ends up being at the bottom of the stack of active agents.
