When in the Plex web page, TV Recordings show the date of recording in US format (eg September 30, 2016). I prefer and am quicker to grasp the date in the logical (and near-universal) format: 30 September 2016. Can this be made an option to change, please?

Unless something has changed, TVDB isn’t going to provide the date in regional formats: https://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4714&p=19094&hilit=date+format#p19094 It would however be a simple bit of coding to manipulate the date to display it local format in the web app.

As an American, I would also like the option to change the way dates are displayed in Plex. Personally I prefer YYYY-MM-DD (the same way it has to be entered when you are editing “Originally Available” metadata). For as old a topic as this is and as easy as it should be to implement, I can’t belie…

I’ve just started using Plex and noticed the date is still in US format. As @mdubash said, it should be easy to get this changed on the web page. Ideally, there could be a setting to allow to change to whatever format you want.
