TS-453A Firmware 4.3.4.0486
I’m trying to re-install Plex, version 1.10 was giving me the ‘server not responding’ error so I removed it and downloaded/manual installed the latest version (1.11, 64bit).
Now clicking open does load the Plex application in a new web tab but now, after a short while of the server trying to start I get an error message of ‘A problem has been detected with a core component of Plex Media Server.’
Any ideas?

Removing PMS implies that you deleted all your metadata. If that’s a problem you need backups to recover.
Can you please reboot your QNAP and launch PMS afterwards ? From the logs, looks like port 32400 is occupied by another process (maybe the old PMS did not shutdown correctly).
I deleted the old app before installing the new one, i have a feeling it hadn’t deleted properly… I’ve now deleted the new one and restarted the NAS. Will try and install again, restart the NAS and then launch PMS.

That appears to have done it! Can now connect and it’s busy rebuilding the library.
