1.9.0...No Joy, exhibits all the same bugs as before

I do hope that soon I can watch a show WHILE it is being recorded as I think, at least on paper, this bring Plex on par with MCE (of course MCE could playback locked channels, which Plex can’t).

I think you’re running fine because you only have one HDHR unit. Those of us with multiple units are getting many of the problems described above. Most of my issues can be traced back to when I added a Connect to my setup that was only using an Extend.

With confidence I can say that multiple devices are not working at this point, no matter how hard you want it to work. I have read the fix is coming. I would eliminate the extra HDHR devices and test again. If “most of my issues can be traced back to when I added a Connect”, then I would, for the time being, remove the second device. I would run a Program Guide refresh after removing the second device (if it doesn’t do it for you).

Are you joking? Is this your idea of customer service? You’re (presumably) an employee of this company. People gave your company money for a product that isn’t working. This is not a new bug and it has been described in multiple threads. How verbose does he need to be? It isn’t recording. He posted logs. How is he supposed to know what part is relevant and what isn’t? You should. It seems to be YOUR JOB.

Figure it out. I’m sorry we’re not all programmers or tech savvy. That wasn’t one of the buttons we had to click when you guys took our/continue to take our money for a product that is not as advertised.

You honestly need to approach people with less frustration. This is ridiculous.

I’ve had pretty good luck since version 1.9.4. Did have a problem where it didn’t look like the stream was completing but some feedback said it may be because of a weak signal. Both HDHomeRuns are working well and no more incomplete recordings.

I was having the issue on 1 channel that was a little weaker than all of the others so I made a couple of changes to the antenna and since then it’s been working well. I heard that the way Plex utilizes the stream since 1.6.1 is different and seemed to be more sensitive to signal drops.

I could be possible that you’re experiencing the same issue. Check the signal meter just to be sure.

4 incomplete recordings (about 5-50mb of what should have been 1-2gb)
1 zero length file
1 complete failure to record
