I don’t understand how an almost no-brainer activity requested in 2013, it’s still postponed to these days…
I tested and I was able to successfully send the POST request with the 1-10 rating in the URL and it works already without changing anything (e.g. the rating is stored in the DB as “7”)!
You just need to re-work a bit the GUI to display 1-10 in the form of half-stars and modify the same in the “filter” to allow filtering by half stars.
That’s a good point m3Ss. I also verified that indeed the POST requests work locally, so the functionality is already there on the back-end, and already has front-end support in the Mobile app. Is there any way to know if this feature request has been at least triaged by the Plex team?
I just wanted to add my vote for this too. It is a pain to only be able to give half stars on my phone (Android) when I’m listening on my computer.
I randomly noticed today that I can both see and assign ratings in half-star increments now in the desktop web page. Is this feature now fully supported?
