My Movie library is going to be compiled of two separate folder but when i access the movies on Plex i want them to both be in the same folder. my movies are coming from 2 separate folders is there a way to make them one when viewing on Plex instead of having to swap between the few. having 1600 movies its hard to keep them all on ONE hard drive
I think Plex supports multiple folders for each library. Wouldn’t you just modify your Movie library and include the second folder location? Plex will monitor both for changes but they’ll just be “Movies” on the server.
Just an example:

Just add both folders to the library.
Edit the library, click on Add Folders, click on Browse for Media Folders.
You can add several folders to a single library.

thanks guys i think that’s exactly what i need to do! i must have been adding them individually or something i will try then and get back to you if i encounter new problems
