No you only need one instance of plexconnect, it can connect to multiple pms

The machine running plexconnect needs to be always on, that’s the nature of plexconnect. If you wanted plexconnect in both machines you would have to use the same certificates but you would be swapping the DNS setting everytime you changed instances of plexconnect.
