Hubby and I both have the plex app on our Samsung Galaxy phones for casting to tv.
I appear to have a newer version of the app than he, I’m 8.8.x he is 8.7.x. with my app store showing an update 20 Oct, his 6 Oct.
I’m not sure if that is causing his headaches, but he is often finding that his app isn’t connecting to our server, it will say server offline, or re try connection, whereas mine never has a problem.
We’re on the same wifi network all round.
Are app updates rolled out? Is there anything else I can try?
Android updates are usually performed as a “staged rollout” – so it might take several days for the update to show up for every user.
