I know the Amazon app store (for the FireTV stick etc) always lags behind the latest Plex android app release but why is it sill on 8.31 released in March?
Any reason for lack of a later release?
Also in case someone says I can just sideload the app onto a FireTV - when I tried to sideload a v9.1 android release it just drops back to the OS when I try and run it.
I have tried this on a Fire TV 4k stick.
They did not approve the 9.X update. We are working with them to get an update out soon.

Well, it’s happened. The Amazon Store has finally updated with a new version of the Plex app: 9.2.0.
It may have updated the logo and introduced the Discovery feature. But I am unable to click on anything and move to the right app. For example if I click on Taskmaster which can be viewed on UKTV Play it will just tell me where it is, but I am currently unable to go to that app.
So I still need to come off Plex and move to a different app.
I was hoping it would be a one click solution and it would take me to the app and the show within.
Is this purely an Amazon issue? Are they not allowing it to happen?
