Not 100% sure, but doubt it, and not due to Plex, but due to Samsung
( And sadly the same with 2018 models, and yesā€¦hate it as well :frowning: )

I have small problem with 4K hevc movie - sometimes works but sometimes load and not buffering infoā€¦ its bet version issue?

Samsung decided not to provide DTS, most likely due to license fee.

Thereā€™s nothing Plex can do about this, sadly

I just bought a Samsung Q60 and was shocked to find no Plex app. If not for your post (and the work behind it) I would be taking this 65" TV off the wall and returning it. I followed your instructions and now have the Plex app on my TV. Works like a charm. Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll find something to complain about later but right now Iā€™m extremely happy. I had read that Samsung blocked sideloading apps. Obviously they havenā€™t.

I can not get this to work at all. It says there is a security issue with the app. ā€œ._Plex.tmp, invalid app package for security check failed!ā€ Did you get that message at all?

No. The app installed as soon as I inserted the USB drive and worked immediately. I didnā€™t change any settings for it, but I may have changed something earlier when I was trying to get the TV to work with Plex using DLNA (which still doesnā€™t work).

Which download did you use? I wonder if Im not getting the right version for the tvā€¦
