The movie with the attached data gets transcoded for sync to a Windows 10 Desktop. I think it because of the multiple Audio streams. Because when I try to play the same movie on the same device (without sync) it gets direct played.
Is this a known issue, or works as designed?
It is probably getting remuxed (not a full transcode) to move from MKV container to a MP4 container. Since Windows 10 now natively supports MKV containers, we plan on eventually syncing MKV files as-is, and not force a remux on Windows machines.
Sync mkv would be really nice. My full movie collection is mkv based. An also remuxing is not the fasted process on a nas.
