I would love to see PLEX recognize if the scanned media (e.g. M2TS or MKV) contains a 3D mulitview video codec (MVC) and populate a corresponding tag so one can filter for it.
Or is the feature already there and I don’t know where to look?

Thanks for consideration!

M2TS isn’t a supported format and no Plex app supports the playback of 3D at the moment. Would be nice to see support for recognising it though.

Not necessarily true thanks to Plex’s Kodi add-on.
I have all my 3D movie rips in their own folder and a library just for them. That’s the only reliable way I found to play them without selecting my non-3D version.

Yes sorry forgot to mention that one. Will be great when the bug bringing up the 3D switcher can be fixed so I don’t have to set the type of 3D beforehand. Other than that works great on a Pi3.
