401 Unauthorized - Require authentication on local networks

I kept on getting a "401 Unauthorized" message in my terminal until I found the solution but this solution needs another solution.

Problem - Go to PlexMedia Server web - Settings - myPlex and uncheck "Require authentication on local networks"

Once I changed this, authentication went through. However, I would like to have this setting enabled because I have multiple Plex servers and multiple users in my house.

How can this be fixed?

From other thread (a good idea to split it though as there were definitely two separate issues):

"Thanks for the info, it is helpful and the issue will be looked at.

Just bear in mind you are unusual in your setup so i do not know how high up the priority list it will be (that may also depend upon how much effort is required as well)."

Add the IPs of your AppleTV and of the other devices you want to grant direct access (without myPlex authorization) to the "List of networks that are allowed without auth" (Plex/Web/Setting/(Show Advanced setting)/Network).

How can this be fixed?

It is not yet myPlex aware, so does not yet support myPlex auth, you'll need to exclude the device from auth.
