4K AppleTV downconverting everything to 720 locally

I have this issue for LiveTV. I believe it started happening with last ATV4K update. The quality defaults to 720p for Live TV. I had the server on recommended setting for home streaming for years without issue. Changing to “maximum” on server doesn’t help. Each time I start Plex new I have to manually change quality to “original” for Live TV.

Hm I’m not sure. For me I think the issue was that traffic was being routed over the internet vs the local network. Good luck with your issue though.

Thanks. I think my issue resolved itself. It still starts off at 720P and then after a while I get the spinning wheel and it jumps up to original quality by itself.
