My thought was that you had incredibly high bitrate source files that you could shrink to even a high 200Mbps.
Is that not the case?
Otherwise I’d have to rely on Handbrake creating a fixed 200Mbps bitrate from a source that’s only say, 65Mbps (roughly the highest in my library). I’m not sure if it can do this?
No. I actually took a 60Mbps sample and re-encoded it to CQ10 which made it significantly higher bitrate (even if it didn’t actually improve the picture quality)
