4k content on hard drive

I have always download 4k content and it’s works flawless on my 2 4k Tv my kids tvs are 1080p and it used to play on them absolutely :100: perfect obviously it downscald it but not both tv just buffer constantly 4k worked on them for atheist 6 months now don’t work ??
