Windows 10
Searched around but haven’t seen this situation mentioned anywhere. I’m running the latest Windows 10 version of Plex on a HTPC thats way over spec for the streaming job it’s doing.
I just upgraded my sound system to an Atmos capable setup and now when I play any 4k HDR file the video skips and pauses horribly yet the audio will keep playing without missing a beat. The more movement on the screen the worse it gets. When I drag the file locally to the device or if I launch it straight from my NAS over the network via VLC it plays flawlessly so it has nothing to do with the network or HDMI cables. I have verified that all videos I’ve tried are showing as direct play for sound and video. I’ve also verified that all audio and video settings are set to direct play and (just because I’ve seen this as a solution before) all subtitles are set to disabled.
Hoping something stands out in the attached logs to someone.
