4k, HDR, Dolby Atmos - Nvidia Shield VS Xbox One X

I currently use an Nvidia Shield but I would like to buy an Xbox one X. However, Nvidia Shield allows me to stream 4K, HDR with Dolby Atmos 7.1 TrueHD from my PC to TV.

Can someone tell me if the Xbox One X can do the same without transcoding (DirectPlay)?

It would be great if I can get this sorted, many thanks in advance :slight_smile:

The shield is going to direct play more stuff than the Xbox unfortunately. Even with audio pass through it still won’t direct stream everything like the Nvidia Shield can do without breaking a sweat. I love my Xbox One X for gaming, but I do not use it for media.
