Xbox Series X/S finally beats the Nvidia Shield!

For those unaware, the release of Kodi 21 Omega pretty much makes the Xbox Series X/S consoles a Nvidia Shield killer on steroids. You finally get proper HDR10 support, full lossless audio passthrough of all the formats like DTS:X Dolby Atmos etc. Even has the official Dolby and DTS home theatre apps.

It’s direct playing all the problematic video formats like VC-1 and MPEG2 found on some blu ray disk that previously caused lots of issues as well on the native Plex client.

Huge shout out to the Kodi developers, the guys who work on PM4K (PlexModForKodi) because they have things working exceptionally well with Plex integration. If any of you have Xbox Series consoles laying around, definitely worth redownloading Kodi V21 omega!

Thanks for the heads-up. Shield TV Pro is just getting less and less enticing as the ultimate media player, unless Nvidia comes up with an upgrade soon.
