Ok, so my Samsung TV can Direct play 4K HDR video. When playing a movie, the container, video, audio and subtitles are ALL showing as direct playing. However after maybe 5 minutes Plex automatically starts transcoding and I lose the HDR. I don’t understand why it would do this if everything is direct playing?? It works fine with subtitles turned off so can’t be a buffer issue surely?
Any ideas?
