This is an issue that I have on a Sony KD-55X7500H, which IS a 4K TV.
My TV runs Android 11. I have the latest Plex Android TV Client installed.
Earlier, I was able to play 4K HDR, 5.1 content just fine. HDR and 5.1 still work, but I am limited to 1080p now, for some bizarre reason.
I tried resetting the TV multiple times, and reinstalling the app too. Nothing has solved this issue. I receive plentiful bandwidth on my TV and I can play higher bitrate 1080p files. So I’m rather sure this is not a bitrate problem either.
I’d be grateful if this issue could be resolved. I have attached the Error, Warning, All and Debug logs here.
I am willing to get a Plex Pass but this is the only thing holding me back! Please help!
