Am i to understand that as from the new year PMP will no longer be updated leaving us loyal hard core Home Cinema fans in the dark having payed out for life membership in the early days of PLEX giving it the financial support it needed to develop we have been hung out to dry and will have to resort to KODI

Hi thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment there must be a way that Plex can tell how many of its Pass users are using it for HTPC purposes most people like things that are free and will download them and maybe just use and are happy with basic features and functions
one thing that has concerned me for a long time is the Plex team or objective seems to wide spread if one is not careful we become jack of all but Master of none
It would appear to me that soon after PHT was replaced by PMP there was a move away then from the HTPC side and it looked really as if the project was being moulded for a massive sell off in the future?
I hope that’s not the case as PMP has the best interface of all HTPC players having said that it does not do the task any better than KODI and why would you want PLEX as an add on to KODI?
I discovered PLEX first and have stuck with it from the beginning i only downloaded Kodi when there were some issues with PMP that weren’t being addressed
