500 Internal Server Error - PMS - MacOS

Server Version#: 1.15.2.793

Hi,

I am getting “500 Internal Server Error” error when trying to access Plex since yesterday. I am assuming it updated itself last night that is why. Trying to access it on the same machine the pms is running on.

I am running the server on MacOS 10.13.6.

Things i have tried:

  • Restart computer
  • Restart PMS
  • Download and install new pms over existing app in applications
  • Tried accessing from multiple browsers on the same machine

No luck so far.

Uploading crash reports hopefully someone can help.

Let me know if you need anything else please.

Thank you!

Fixed the issue by downgrading PMS to 1.14.1

Looks like last update didn’t upgrade the database properly, new version PMS is looking for column in the database which doesn’t exist so it crashes.

I say skip PMS version 1.15.2 on MacOS, something is wrong with it.

Thank you @trumpy81 for your help.

I did follow the steps to repair the database, this is the error i get after. Any idea how to fix this? I can rerun the repair steps if needed, i have the backup.

@trumpy81 I even tried restoring DB back from December when 1.14.1 PMS was running, and then running through db repair steps. This SQLite 3 repair option breaks it. I really hope next version of PMS you guys can work something into upgrade try to fix this DB issue. I see a lot of other people having exact same issue with latest upgrade, they downgraded to 1.14.1 same as me to fix the issue.

Thanks!

@trumpy81 I just can’t scrap and start again, i have a lot of what we watched flag on lots of shows, can’t lose that flag.

Not to mention folder paths and other settings, will lose a lot of settings if i do.

Unless there is way to export these settings, preferences and flags from PMS and import them later. Is there?

Ended up starting with new DB. Copied over metadata about what i watched from old db to new one. It is working fine now with latest PMS.

Thanks for all your help today @trumpy81. Much appreciated.
