Plex Media Server 1.32.2.7100 keeps crashing

Server Version#: 1.32.2.7100
Player Version#: 1.69.1.3755-e00242c8 (Plex for Mac)

I upgraded to the new PMS version 1.32.2.7100 through the Plex macOS app and it took much longer than expected to install. When it opens, it tries to start the server, however then crashes.

I’ve tried to downgrade or revert back to a previous PMS through time machine or Backblaze back-up, but still have the same problem.

Plex for Mac, also now no longer responds.

This new version of PMS has completely broken my Plex set up!

Any help would be really appreciated.

Please grab the server logs. You will find in this page the instructions to manually get the logs.

Thanks. I have managed to grab the server logs. See below latest Plex Media server log:

Your database is corrupt, see this on how to repair your database: https://support.plex.tv/articles/repair-a-corrupted-database/

Thanks for this and confirming that my database is corrupted.

I have checked the link you provided and I have to say I’m struggling to do this as the instructions are complicated.

I have absolutely no idea what to do.

Is there to video on YouTube to make it simple to understand?

Thanks

Hi there, is there any other instructions or help you can offer as I am struggling to follow the instructions in the page you shared?

Thanks

Maybe @ChuckPa can assist further, he is very familiar with database repair. He has created a tool which makes things a bit easier: GitHub - ChuckPa/PlexDBRepair: Database repair utility for Plex Media Server databases

Sadly his tool is for Windows only; I am using Apple Mac.

If nobody from Plex is able to help, I guess I’ll have to remove and re-install Plex and completely start again. Not good when I have over 50TB of media.

Thanks anyway.

I’ll see if ChuckPa can help.

No, it isn’t. In fact Apple is mentioned first in the list of supported operating systems.
