60631 Chicago Missing EPG Channels 62.2 62.3

Hello, NBC Sports in Chicago recently created two over the air (OTA) channels (62.2, 62.3). As you can see from the screenshot below, the antenna and tuner is able to pickup both channels under the name “Chicago” for 62.2 and “ChPlus” for 62.3 for Blackhawks, Bulls, and Sox games.

However, when I select the channel under the “TUNER CHANNELS” section and try to map it to an “EPG CHANNELS”, there isn’t a proper EPG channel to map it to.

I already refreshed the guide and re-scanned the tuner channels and the EPG channel to map to for both are still missing. How do I get Plex to pull in these channels within the EPG so I get the proper guide information? I would prefer not to map to an incorrect channel to watch as I want the proper guide information. Hopefully I don’t need to delete the DVR and re-setup?

I don’t see one but I am going to be re-reporting a bunch of these. I will be creating a new forum tag and will be separating out each that has posted here so I can individually reply when things have been (re) reported. Things can be lost in this mass topic.

These appear to be in the EPG now for you postal code. Just checking if you see them now. You may have to refresh lineup/EPG first

Thanks @BigWheel! I just did a re scan, guide refresh, and ultimately restarting my server and I still don’t see the EPG data coming through for those channels. I did also move the tv.plex.providers.epg.xxxxx (x3) files out of C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases and did a re scan with the still same issue.

I will keep trying through the weekend and report back whether it was successful or not. Either way, really appreciate you working on this for us in the Chicago market!

Hey @BigWheel, I checked again this week and I still don’t see the guide data. I did both a rescan and a refresh of the guide data and 62.2 and 62.3 still are not appearing for an EPG map. Not sure if there are any additional steps on my end I need to complete. Thanks!

This is an issue with recordings not working but still looking for help from PLEX.

Attached are my server logs after trying to Record, (FYI the database was too big to attach).

I am Windows 11 Pro (64) user, and I have experimented on 3 computers. Currently stuck on Version 1.40.5.8921, but keep trying the new versions and nothing has fixed it. Sometimes it will work, but mostly not and ends within 20 seconds to a minute or too. In the past I have seen it look like it was recording still, , but in the end it wasn’t in some of those cases.
